Ashok Gehlot, who was the chief minister twice during the Congress government in Rajasthan, is considered a grassroots leader. Despite the BJP's clean sweep in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Gehlot kept his party relevant in the state. And once again, the Congress returned to power, gave the command of the state to Ashok Gehlot.
राजस्थान में दो बार कांग्रेस सरकार के दौरान मुख्यमंत्री रह चुके अशोक गहलोत को जमीनी पकड़ रखने वाला नेता माना जाता है। 2014 के लोकसभा चुनाव में बीजेपी की क्लीन स्वीप के बावजूद गहलोत ने राज्य में अपनी पार्टी को प्रासंगिक बनाए रखा। और एक बार फिर सत्ता मे वाप लौटी कांगेस ने प्रदेश की कमान अशोक गहलोत को दी.
